*Quiet mornings with just prayer.*Frosty sunrises that invite me to slow down and rest in Him.*Thrifting—because He makes things new.*The beach, where the waters remind me that He has authority over every chaos.*Community worship, where gathering and learning grows us to be more like Jesus.*My kids: a deep desired gift that came in His timing.*And His Word, where His kindness and love meet me daily. All of it points me back to the One who holds every season—teaching me to slow down, wait, and rest in His steady presence.......#thewildamen #prayer #frostymorning #thrifting #thankful #rest #trust #goodgifts #friendship #community

Are you running....are you tired...STOP. REST in HIM. Isaiah 40 tells us that The Word of the Lord lasts forever that people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field.7 The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the Lord. And so it is with people.8 The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever. That God is coming!”10 Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.11 He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart.BUT GO READ IT FOR YOURSELF!! #rest #restintheLord #thewildamen #tistheseason #TheWildAmenPodcast #womenintheword #monicaandrachel #faithineveryday #christianpodcast #everydaytheology #isaiah #isaiah40 #fallgarden #naturelovers #natureatrest #seasonofrest

We’re so often the fixers and doers—“Just tell me how to fix it and make it go away.”But sometimes God just says, sit with Me.See parts of My heart you’d miss if you rushed for a solution.Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do… is stop checking the boxes and just be in His presence . 💛#TheWildAmen #Abide #FaithInRealLife #IntimacyWithGod

Spending time with the Lord shouldn't be a chore, He wants to meet with you, to hear you, to be heard by you. Make the time special, splurge on the fancy coffee creamer, get a cozy blanket- you will never regret a moment spent in His presence ❤️#thewildamen #everydaytheology #morningdevotion

Our hearts are so full. God met us in such a sweet way at the very first Wild Amen event. Thank you for showing up, worshiping, and reminding us what happens when we gather hungry for His presence. 🤍 – Monica & Rachel

What makes us think we don’t need rest?Even God—who never grows weary—paused to delight in what He made.Rest isn’t weakness. It’s worship. Genesis 1:31-2:2 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.#TheWildAmen #Abide #Rest

Hi there, I'm Monica. Mom to 3 and married to my opposite . ❤️ Practicing letting go of My ambitions and LETTING GOD be in charge. His will is better than our plan ❤️. I'm a strong willed (goes with the red hair;) and adventurous free spirit SAVED by the King of Kings. When I'm focused, I'm pretty good at gardening and painting and cooking...but when I'm not focused you'll just find everything a mess;) I have an antique/vintage shop to add to the beautiful chaos. Life is a battle and the hard things in life do shape us, but when we Follow HIM he uses them to shape us to be more like Christ and for His Glory! Come along with me and my best friend Rachel as we chat about all things life ..through the lense of God's plan and His truth. So very thankful for ALL of God's provisions. #TheWildAmen #TheWildAmenPodcast #HisWill #Marriage #momming #monica #friends

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve been married to my husband Jo

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve been married to my husband Josh for 17 years, and together we’re raising three lively, entertaining kids. We live on a small hobby homestead where I have a hard time saying no to animals… so yes, we’ve got a lot of them. I’m a bit of a Bible nerd — I love digging into Scripture and the cultural context of the time. I’m no scholar, just a girl continually amazed at how God is in every tiny detail. 🤩When I’m not wrangling kids or animals, you’ll find me with a good book (or audiobook), out in the garden, or enjoying something delicious, good food is key.I’m so excited for this next adventure with my dear friend Monica. Come join us — two imperfect women talking about a perfect God, and how we can live each day in light of eternity. ❤️#thewildamen #chritianpodcast #rachelandmonica #homesteadlife
